The need for a wide scale alternative energy

I always wondered why can't people get free easy to generate energy. And i was so pissed off because solar energy needs solar panels which ordinary people can't create. Therefore, the solution would be hydro-power, hydro mills, wind-power, windmills, and kinetic energy power generators. I hope people develop ideas around these technologies. Maybe one of you might be the new Nicola Tesla.

what happens if you suddenly wake up and you can't find electricity provided by your government's power grid?

Well, you will go back in history 200 years.
Therefore, I think we should spread alternative renewable power plants all over the world just in case the worst scenario happens.
